Edward P. King
Founder/Managing Partner
Investment Committee

Edward is the Founder and Managing Partner of King Trade Capital ("KTC"), the premiere investment company specializing in purchase order, contract and project finance. The firm's clients have included more than 250 public and private companies worldwide in which King Trade Capital has invested more than $1 billion of capital.

Edward started King Trade Capital in 1993 with well known high net worth investors and has grown the business to include major financial institutions. King Trade Capital has produced annual profits with returns well in excess of public market indices over the same period.

Edward is a leading advocate of integrity and proper structure in finance and continues to fight for the sensible structuring of financial instruments. His unique entrepreneurial approach to investment has helped develop a discipline and structure at King Trade Capital that has become "best practice" for the structuring of purchase order, contract and project financings.

He serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial Finance Association and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. He is a regular speaker and panelist discussing the specialized finance solutions developed at King Trade Capital. Edward has authored many articles including those for industry publications such as The Secured Lender, ABF Journal and The Commercial Factor.

Prior to starting KTC, he was Founder and Managing Partner of King Interests and King Investment Trust where he managed investments in real estate as well as operating companies. Previous to these activities Edward was Founder and President of Music Man, a group of retail CD and tapes stores in cities throughout the Southwest as well as on several University campuses.

Edward received a BA in Economics and a Minor in Business from Southern Methodist University.

Bryan Ballowe
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Investment Committee

Bryan joined King Trade Capital in 1997 and oversees underwriting and portfolio management at King Trade Capital. He is a principal and member of King Trade Capital's Investment Committee. Prior to joining King Trade Capital, Bryan was a global Financial Analyst for Bank of America underwriting senior debt and high yield bonds for companies in the media and telecom industry. Bryan holds a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics from Southern Methodist University as well as an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Corporate Finance. Bryan is a varsity letter winner and member of Southern Methodist University's men's Southwest Conference Championship basketball team.

Joseph "Jay" P. Burchfield
Senior Account Executive
Investment Committee

Jay has 15 years experience in banking and the commercial finance industry and has been with King Trade Capital since 2003. Prior to joining King Trade Capital Jay worked with GE Capital Commercial Finance, Textron Financial Corporation, and Bank One. A graduate of Texas A&M University with degrees in Finance and Accounting, Jay received his MBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Clinton Stanton
Account Executive

Clint has more than 4 years of experience in corporate finance including experience underwriting, structuring and managing credit relationships. Prior to joining King Trade Capital, Clint worked as a Vice President at Citibank, N.A. where he primarily focused on middle market companies and international trade finance relationships. Clint is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Agribusiness.

Chip Scoggins
Regional Manager - Business Development

Chip is responsible for marketing and new business development for the Southwest, Midwest and Southeast Regions. He has over 26 years of experience in the commercial finance and banking industries. Chip is former President of the Commercial Finance Association - Southwest Chapter and Co - Founder of the Southwest Business Credit Association, now called The Finance Forum. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Accounting and has an MBA from Winthrop College. Chip is a active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Commercial Finance Association, International Factoring Association and Turnaround Management Association.

Eric Fenmore
Regional Manager - West Coast Business Development

Eric manages King Trade Capital's California business development and marketing office. He has experience in all facets of the purchase order and trade finance business, having been in the industry since 1990. Prior to joining King Trade Capital, Eric spent 11 years at MFR Financial in both a management and business development role. Eric studied at the London School of Economics and earned a degree in Economics from UCLA.
